Psikologi UI · Trolley problem game

Jul 2020 – Sep 20201 min read

A short Godot game about trolley problem ethics, with Illustrator art and a scripted intro.

Role — Game developer.

Impact

  • Playable trolley-problem experience shipped end to end, from art direction to intro logic.
  • Art and gameplay stayed aligned because a single owner carried both for the assigned slices.

Context

The brief asked for a playable take on trolley problem ethics inside a psychology setting. The scope covered art, an intro beat, and core interaction logic players would feel in the first minutes.

Approach

I built gameplay in Godot, drew backgrounds and supporting art in Illustrator, and planned flow in Figma before locking logic. I focused on background visuals and the intro sequence so the opening matched what designers expected.

Outcomes

  • An intro sequence sets up the theme before the main loop runs.
  • Art and gameplay stayed aligned because one person owned both for those slices.
